Metal Gurney Floor Rails

Made from solid metal, these Gurney floor rails replace the plastic parts supplied with the model. Each rail is hand-painted, highly detailed and lightly weathered – accurately matching the steel rails seen in the cargo area of the real Ecto-1.
The rails in this kit have been carefully designed to match how they look in the real Ecto-1 – painted to look like real steel together with light weathering and artificial rust spots for added realism.
Easy to install
Self-adhesive and easy to install, each rail is installed directly over the existing screw holes, in place of the black rails. The new rails greatly enhance the interior, and installed in the same locations ensure compatibility with the Gurney trolley appearing later in the build.

Optional, advanced installation
For a more authentic look, you could opt to fill in the screw holes and respray your cargo floor. This is a fairly advanced process, but would allow for a better colour match of the floor, and would also allow you to reposition the gurney rails further apart like in the reference photo. However, before installing the rails it is recommended that you wait until the gurney trolley arrives in later stages of the build to ensure compatibility and correct positioning of the rails. Positioning the rails in the same position as the black rails, whilst a little close together, will ensure compatibility with the trolley coming in later issues.
Detail matters
Each rail is also etched with screw head detailing – at the correct scale and positioned along each rail.
The rails are self-adhesive and easy to install – removing the need for ugly oversized screws.
