Helpful for extending a number of common cables used in partwork and build-up models.
At a convenient length of 150mm, these high quality cables are designed to provide just enough extra length without taking up too much room within your build – particularly helpful during later stages of builds where cables often don’t reach or are uncomfortably tight.
Each cable is supplied as a male-to-female extension, in a custom, stylish and discreet black and grey design – important when your cables may be visible (like on the Hero Collector Ecto-1 roof rack for instance).
Suitable for any partwork model, these extension cables are also critical for the Fanhome Knight Rider build where at Issue 66 a number of cables are too short and are unable to comfortably reach the main board.
With these connectors being so common amongst all build-up models, these extension cables are an incredibly handy addition to any partwork modeller’s tool box.
Features:
Reduces strain on cables
More comfortable when building and handling model
Great for testing and for final installation
Custom, discreet black and grey colour
What’s included:
Available in kits by connector type, or as a handy full extension cable kit:

2 x Black Type B 2 Pin Male-to-Female Cables – 150mm

Tips for the Fanhome Knight Rider KITT:
These extension cables are particularly useful for extending the cables from the front dash and steering wheel to the main board for reduced strain on cables at final install and easier handling during the build.
A common problem is that the stock cables don’t reach the motherboard at Stage 66.
They also allow the top and bottom halves of KITT to sit beside each other for testing motor and lights at Stage 87, rather than having to connect the two halves on top of each other.
I would recommend at least one Full Extension Kit to extend critical cables, and two kits if you’d like additional freedom and comfort during the build.
All other model parts and accessories shown in the photos outside of the ‘What’s included’ list above are not included and are shown purely for demonstration and application purposes.

It is very helpful because there are many short cables

These are a lifesaver! There are a few cables that are too short on the KITT model and these made life so much easier. Thank you for making these!
