Compatible with all partworks including models from Agora Models, Fanhome, Eaglemoss, DeAgostini, Hachette Collections, IXO and more…
Easy to use and powered by USB-C, the Test Circuit Pro can test LEDs, motors, speakers, switches, individual batteries and even battery packs – making this a must-have tool for any partwork modeller.
A common headache for partwork modellers is fitting electronic components deep into a model – only to find out later in the build when powering up that they don’t work or have a fault.
A faulty component within your build not only causes frustration, delays and inconvenience, but can also be an expensive discovery.
A late discovery can result in a potentially damaging, major model strip down, hours of work lost, and furthermore make acquiring replacement parts difficult.
With the Test Circuit Pro you can test each component as you receive them, and again as you install them if you wish – giving you peace of mind that every component within you build will work like clockwork when you need them to.
The Test Circuit Pro supports testing all the most common connection types found within partwork models, including:
1.25mm pitch JST Micro
1.5mm pitch JST ZH
2.0mm pitch JST PH
2.54mm pitch JST Dupont
Each section of the Test Circuit Pro is fitted with two different sized sockets (a 1.25mm pitch JST Micro and a 1.5mm pitch JST ZH).
Plus, a set of adapter cables is supplied to enable you to test components using 2.0mm pitch JST PH plugs and 2.54mm pitch JST Dupont connectors – found in the 1:8 Ferrari F40 and the 1:8 Back to the Future DeLorean for example.
A number of safety measures have been built directly into the Test Circuit Pro, including:
Automatic current adjustment for LED testing
Automatic polarity switching for battery box testing
Electronic fuse protection
Power regulator with thermal shutdown
Dedicated motor controller with thermal shutdown
Anti-static acrylic base plate with ESD-safe coating
All designed to help protect the Test Circuit Pro and the components connected to it.
The LED tester allows you to safely test partwork LEDs. After connecting an LED, the LED tester will automatically detect the LED’s correct current rating and supply only enough power to light the connected LED(s).
It is even possible to test cables with multiple LEDs connected so long as the LEDs are of the same type.
The speaker tester is for testing small 4 or 8-ohm speakers of up to 3 watts typically found in partwork models.
A single press of the speaker test button will play a familiar tune out of the attached speaker. An LED will also flash as a visual reference, indicating that sound is playing incase your speaker is not playing due to a fault.
The motor tester is for testing small-sized motors typically found in partwork models.
A single press of the motor test button will apply power to the motor from the dedicated on-board motor controller.
The switch tester is for testing switches and buttons typically found in partwork models, such as brake pedals and door switches for example.
Once connected, a blue LED will illuminate whenever the connected switch is in the closed position.
Individual AAA or AA batteries (the most common battery types used in partwork models) can be accurately tested using the individual battery tester.
Holding the individual battery test button will display the state of charge on the battery gauge.
Anything lower than 3 LEDs on the battery gauge should be considered too low to be used.
Battery testing is made more accurate than typical battery testers by using the USB-C power as a reference.
The battery box tester allows you to test the power output from a partwork battery box.
Partwork battery boxes come in all shapes and sizes, often outputting different voltages. A selector switch is provided to select the correct size of battery box being tested to provide an accurate reading.
