Model Tyre Dressing with Brush

Before you start
- Ensure the tyre wall is clean, dust-free and dry before application.
- The dressing is quick-drying, so to avoid streaks avoid brushing over the same area too many times whilst applying.
- Apply in long complete strokes using the wide brush provided. If possible, turning the wheel whilst keeping the brush stationary is the easiest method and gives the best results.
- Avoid any build-up and try to ensure a thin even coat across the tyre wall.
Application:
- Apply 2-3 drops to the brush head and apply 1-2 thin coats across the tyre wall (ideally leaving 1hr between coats).
- The dressing will dry clear, with a natural soft sheen finish. It requires no buffing.
- Wash the brush throughly with warm water between coats and after use and keep in a safe place for future use.
- Leave the tyres to dry fully (ideally overnight) before handling.
Suitable for all scale models, this quick-drying soft sheen tyre dressing gives your tyre walls the perfect showroom finish whilst also protecting tyre transfers.
The tyre dressing protects and enhances dull tyres, leaving a smooth finish without looking too glossy or plasticky.
The kit includes a special short handled application brush with a wide brush head, allowing for long continuous strokes around the tyre wall. This helps to give a uniform, streak-free finish to your tyres.
UV and crack resistant, the tyre dressing is also safe to use with my rub-on tyre transfer kits, doubling as a protective seal to help prevent rubbing, drying or cracking of the transfers over time.
The tyre dressing is permanent, water-based, non-toxic and easy to apply.
