Bat-Carpets Installation

You can begin the installation of this mod from Issue 51 of the build.
  1. Installation is very straight forward, just be mindful of the very sticky adhesive backing. The backing is sticky by design, but ensure you keep the carpets on their backing until you need them. Avoid touching the back with your fingers, and don’t place the carpet down on any surfaces you don’t want them stuck to!
  2. Carefully peel each piece of carpet off the sheet as you need them, ensuring the adhesive peels away with the carpet and doesn’t stay attached to the sheet. You may wish to use a blade to start peeling the carpet away from the corners to help aid the material off its backing.
  1. Preferably, find some holes to align the carpet to whilst placing the carpet lightly into place in a small area. Then, before committing to final placement, find a straight edge to check the positioning of the carpet against or that all holes are aligned correctly.
  1. The adhesive is very strong and bonds to the surface quickly. Trying to remove the carpet after installation will tear the material, so it’s important to take your time and ensure placements is correct first time.
  2. Once your happy with the carpets alignment, simply lay into place, working along an edge to check it’s alignment and pressing into place with your fingers. To tuck the carpet into tight corners, edges and spacers you can use a credit card to aid placement.

Bat-Mats Installation

  1. The same process applies for the Bat-Mats, however because you will be placing these directly onto the carpets themselves, you will find they can be removed, and repositioned easily if required.
  2. It is recommended to keep the non-stick backing that the mats come on. It can be used to store the mats on if you wish to interchange between different styles.
  3. Place your mats into position as shown:
