Static Cling Window Protectors

Protect your DeLorean’s windows from accidental build and storage related scratches and scuffs.
Intended as a temporary fixture throughout the build process and to be removed on completion.
Part of the fun with partwork builds is of course working on your model piece-by-piece, week-by-week, but continuously working on them and storing them away between issues comes with the risk of scratching or damaging delicate parts like the windows, no matter how careful you handle it.
These window protectors eradicate this problem by shielding your DeLorean’s windows from light scratches, scuffs, dust and fingerprints during the build process or storage of your model.
Marks on the windows are a particular eye sore and are always more noticeable. As the build progresses these parts become increasingly difficult to remove and replace if they do get scratched, so these protectors are a crucial addition to your model until it is complete and ready for final display.
Application is quick and easy, simply clean and dry the windows with the provided screen cleaners and drop the protectors into place.
The static cling film has no adhesive backing, leaving no residue or marks behind once removed.
What’s included:
- 1 x Set of screen protectors (windshield film, passenger and driver side film)
- 1 x Set of screen cleaner wipes

Application instructions:
- Wipe the windows using the number 1 ‘Wet’ wipe provided.
- Dry the windows using the number 2 ‘Dry’ wipe provided.
- Lay the protectors into position.
- The protectors can be easily removed and reapplied if perfect alignment isn’t achieved first time.
Note: A few air bubbles beneath the film immediately after application is perfectly normal, they will reduce naturally and become less noticeable once the film settles.
All other model parts and accessories shown in the photos outside of the ‘What’s included’ list above are not included and are shown purely for demonstration and application purposes.

Pretty simple and you can remove the protectors as needed and reapply as you assemble your model. I'm keeping the card backings just for that purpose so the clings don't get messed up during the build. Either way this will help prevent scratches. Thanks Mike for a very useful and easy to use resource.
