Designed for Issue 2 of the Build the K2000 KITT Knight Rider by DeAgostini/Fanhome/Altaya.
- Identify the Left and Right grilles, by the ‘L‘ and ‘R‘ letters marked on each piece
- Peel off the self-adhesive backing on each grille and gently position each grille into place
- Do not install the green pedestrian scanner on the left side – this never featured on the original car
- Take a spare AM screw from Issue 2 (you should have 2 spare), one for each side and use to loosely fix the grilles into place
- Check the grilles from the front and once you’re happy with the alignment, press the self-adhesive area down into place and tighten the AM screws
- Fix the fog lights into place behind the grilles. Note: Be careful not to over-tighten and check for any resistance against the grilles.
Made from metal and super easy to install, these front bumper grilles fit discreetly behind the openings in the bumper and have been designed to match KITT to the Season 1/2 nose design.
Hand-crafted and painted in gloss black, the grilles are held in place with a single AM screw on each side (using spares provided with the model) and small self-adhesive tabs.
The paint and finish have been carefully matched to the model and the design of the grilles matched to the original as closely as possible.

Grilles, or no grilles?
KITT’s front bumper changes appearance slightly through each Knight Rider season – however, the front nose with the grilles covering the fog lights in Season 1 and 2 is undoubtedly the most iconic look we all know and love.
Throughout Season 2, KITT slowly transitioned from having these fog light grilles to not.
The green pedestrian scanner
The green scanner behind the left side of the grille should be removed from the model as it was never present on KITT. A reference car used for the creation of the model had this present but it isn’t accurate to the TV show. If you do still want to include this part, you will need to use a GM screw to affix this behind my grilles. Otherwise, a standard AM screw is all it takes to install my grilles.

- 2 x Pre-painted metal front bumper grilles (1 x Left grille and 1 x Right grille)
All other model parts and accessories shown in the photos outside of the ‘What’s included’ list above are not included and are shown purely for demonstration and application purposes.
