Rear Carpets, Metal Grille and Metal Trims

This highly detailed set includes pre-painted metal carpet trims and metal grille, plus self-adhesive carpets for both the left and right rear sections, authentic to the real Ecto-1.
Accurately matching that of the real Ecto-1, even down to the screw head detailing engraved into the metal grille and trims, this set addresses the missing details from the Eaglemoss 1:8 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 model.
The grille is positioned to the right-hand side of the jump seat flooring area in the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 and is missing from the Eaglemoss model entirely. The carpet fits neatly around and behind the grille, leaving a space in the centre, imitating a hollowed section just like in the real Ecto-1!
The rear sections should be carpeted and finished with black metal trims to protect the carpet edging, a detail also missing from the model. The carpets are easy to install and designed to fit your model perfectly – just peel and stick!
The grille and carpet trims are made from real metal and are pre-bent to shape and painted to a high quality finish. The grille has a 3M self-adhesive backing for sticking directly to the carpet, and because of their small size the trims require gluing into place.
Gluing Tip: For gluing the metal trims into place I recommend using a small amount of Loctite Superglue along the underside top edge of each trim (the surface that will touch the raised edge of the flooring). Please refer to application photos for guidance.
The carpets are made of the same high-quality scale carpet material as my footwells set, available here, so these match and complement each other perfectly.

I just finished putting these carpets in the Ecto-1. I am totally amazed at the attention to detail in this modification. These were a lot easier to install than the Delorean. I had no trouble at all. They give a finished look to Ecto that Eaglemoss left off. The trim that goes over the edges was sheer genius, especially the small ones on each side. I am not an experience builder even at 73 year old, and rather clumsy. But if your build does not have the carpets, mine looks better than yours.
