With this easy-to-install kit, you can now power your entire model via USB-C and remotely control all its functions via remote or even Alexa*!
The custom, compact circuit board fits neatly inside the model without any modifications or drilling required – simply attach using the strong 3M foam backing provided.
Included within the kit is a custom USB-C cable to discreetly feed down through the model for receiving power.
Support for customisations and third-party mods
Can this power third-party modifications? Yes! Whilst we have our own suite of electronic upgrades coming for this model, the Mike Lane Remote Control Power Mod also supports third-party modifications which require power via Dupont connectors. There’s plenty of power for third-party mods or anything else you need power for – all right out of the box using the provided adaptor cables.
Action FX sequences
This upgrade features two special action sequences, programmed especially for this model and utilising all of its existing lights and sound effects – adding something entirely new to your model!
Firehouse exit – This action sequence mimics the iconic scene when we first see the Ecto-1 exit the firehouse in Ghostbusters – resplendently displaying the emergency lights, strobes and sirens, ready to ‘answer the call’.
Possessed – This action sequence imagines Ecto-1 possessed. Was it Slimer, was it Zuul? We may never know! With lights flickering, headlights pulsing, strobes triggered, an intermittent siren and even the engine starting, we can be certain that the Ecto-1 needs a thorough exorcism (and maybe an oil change for good measure!).
Combined power mod and wireless RF remote control
Capable of powering your entire model via USB-C, together with the convenience of remote control for controlling the interior and exterior lights.
Control your model from your phone, or even with your voice!
With the addition of a Broadlink RM4 Pro (sold separately here), you can even control your model using voice activation or using your phone.

Mike Lane does it again! Easy installation with detailed instructions. The ability to control lights and sounds remotely without having to fumble around putting your hand in the model to find the correct button or removing a display case is amazing!
