Tyre Transfers with Dressing (1:6)

Fully compatible with both the original BTTF and new BTTF2 Hot Toys DeLorean
Before you start
- Ensure the tyre wall is clean, dust-free and dry before application.
- The dressing is quick-drying, so to avoid streaks avoid brushing over the same area too many times whilst applying.
- Apply in long complete strokes using the wide brush provided. If possible, turning the wheel whilst keeping the brush stationary is the easiest method and gives the best results.
- Avoid any build-up and try to ensure a thin even coat across the tyre wall.
Application:
- Apply 2-3 drops to the brush head and apply 1-2 thin coats across the tyre wall (ideally leaving 1hr between coats).
- The dressing will dry clear, with a natural soft sheen finish. It requires no buffing.
- Wash the brush throughly with warm water between coats and after use and keep in a safe place for future use.
- Leave the tyres to dry fully (ideally overnight) before handling.
This mod for the Hot Toys 1:6 DeLorean Time Machine provides specialist rub-on transfers created to add the missing tyre print design to the standard tyres supplied with the model.
The designs in this kit have been faithfully reproduced to exactly match the original tyres of the DeLorean Hero ‘A’ Car.
These are not stickers or waterslides, but high-quality rub-on transfers which apply a self-adhesive white ink directly to the surface. This technique gives a much clearer and more authentic look compared to stickers. This Hot Toys DeLorean mod is easy and fun to install, and comes complete with step-by-step instructions.
