Kit 1 includes the Ladder and Green Storage Tube – along with all the necessary screws and fixings to allow a quick and enjoyable installation.
Each component has been carefully and accurately matched to the original Ectomobile, surpassing the quality of parts that now come with the Fanhome subscription.
The ladder
Improvements include added detailing to the ladder, such as grips on the ladder rungs, a metal bracket and an angled bottom step – just how it looked on the real Ectomobile! The ladder in this kit also features a solid construction, rather than being hollowed out on the rear as you get with the stock ladder. The hollowed rear of the stock ladder is unfortunately visible from a number of angles, so the solid ladder within this kit looks much more authentic.
The green storage tube
The green storage tube also see’s a number of improvements, including being a single tube rather than constructed in two halves. This corrects the unsightly join down through the centre of the stock green tube. The end caps of this updated storage tube are also removable, as they would have been on the real Ecto-1. The green storage tube also features more accurate decals and metal brackets.
Combined, these two very visible components elevate the model to another level of realism and accuracy.
