Resurrect the Ecto-1 – Kit 2

Kit 2 includes the Oxygen Tanks (aka Freon Tanks), Grey Hose and Whip Antennas – along with all the necessary screws and fixings.

Styled and matched to the original Ghostbusters Ecto-1, which differs slightly to the later restored Ecto-1. Each component far surpasses the quality and accuracy of parts that now come with the Fanhome subscription.

The oxygen tanks

The oxygen tanks (aka freon tanks) are stunningly detailed pieces, with a high-quality gloss finish, impossibly small gauge detailing on the sides, flexible hoses and metal brackets. The left oxygen tank is also distinct from the right tank with different detailing and valve fixings, exactly as it was on the original Ghostbusters Ecto-1.

Detail is everything

Other improvements include a more accurate grey hose and nozzle, accurately scaled metal grey hose bracket and accurate spring ball mounts for the antennas. All of which are huge improvements over the stock parts.

Even small details such as the tiny antenna holders, which were welded onto the original Ecto-1 roof rack, are included within this set for maximum accuracy and authenticity.

The perfect display

And, if you hadn’t already noticed, a little Easter egg with my Resurrect the Ecto-1 kits is that the boxes stack to form a ghoulish picture on the side. An awesome way to display your packaging once you’ve completed and upgraded your Ecto-1 model.
