Found it tricky to the underside of the front bumper without the risk of damaging the board and wiring so relocated the controller and wiring to under the bonnet. Excellent must have mod that adds life to the model that really should have been there from the start. Well worth the tear down to install, cants stop looking at it.
These are a lifesaver! There are a few cables that are way too short on KITT the knight rider subscription model and these made life so much easier. Thank you for making these! As always Mike Lane Mods are number 1 for all your model needs

These are a fantastic way to display a museum-quality piece. Easy to assemble, and customizable to fit just about any model you would choose to display! I had the pleasure of displaying my completed 1:8 Scale DeLorean Time Machine at the Forney Museum of Transportation in Denver and the display was enhanced so much by these stanchions and ropes. If you want your car to look like it's being cared for by the Petersen Automotive Museum as the actual DeLorean 'A' car is, these are essential! I love them 🙂
This is my favorite mod from Mike, and I've purchased a lot over the years. The quality and presentation of these modifications are outstanding, significantly enhancing the model.
Installation was a breeze, and the mod performs exceptionally well. I was genuinely surprised that the original build didn’t include this feature. The inclusion of a button for different strobe effects, just like in the movies, showcases incredible attention to detail. If you’re building an Ecto-1, this is an absolute must-have!

My Ultimate Electronic Kit was delivered today and as I was unboxing it the quality did not disappoint. Mike well done! Another Hugh quality product once again. I didn't have to prepare my Kitt because I'm still in the early stages of the build. All I had to do was remove the monitors that I've previously purchased from Mike to complete the digital dash installation. Everything worked and looked perfect. 👌
I just received the sticker set along with other mods...and all I can say is WOOOW!!!!! They are incredible. They really complete the model and help make it as accurate as possible. The quality and detail are fantastic! And the best of all is that I already have the complete set to use as I build the DeLorean!! If, like me, you have just started building your time machine and you want to give an even more dignified and faithful finish to your time machine, without a doubt these are your mods!!

First time ordering 2 mods for my KITT model. I had to back track to install the grilles but it was definitely worth it. Thankfully I had not installed the nose cone yet, just had to remove the fog lights. Hopefully a future mod may be a more realistic blackout panel for the rear lights...
Delivery was spot on, ordered Thurs and arrived on Tues.

Wow Mike Lane has worked his magic again these last two kits have definitely been worth the wait amazing even down to the woodgrain Patterns on the white tub and having a working spinning raydome and sniffer motion going left to right as it should I have thoroughly enjoyed Assembling this kit.
Absolutely perfect Quality and fit. Night and Day compared to the original items provided by Fanhome and a huge improvement. This together with all painting recommendations makes this a must have!
The cable extenders are so needed. I no longer have to reroute cables when they are too short. Mike always makes the most useful items. These are a quality product and if you are doing the Delorean, buy a bunch of these. They fix the designers mistakes and, as in my case, builders mistakes. I have used them in several builds so far. I may be short of skills, but I will never be short of a cable.
Das Dashboard Mod von Ihnen was ich mir bestellt habe ist erstklassig und einfach perfekt aber ich konnte das Dashboard und das Verlängerungskabel bisher noch nicht einbauen weil mir noch das Netzteil fehlt das wurde damals nicht mitgeliefert.
Mike has done it again! These transfers are a must have; but then again, all of Mike's mods are a must have. I totally replaced the stock part with the 3D print from Gavin Millar, kicking it up another notch by getting Adrian Dinca's #3D internal parts that together make up the best Gold Box you can get! Highly recommend getting all three mods to create what Eaglemoss should have done in the first place!
I agree with another review: Drop the 5-individual starts and just have a 5-Star selection, because there really is no other logical choice here!

If you are building this model, this is an absolute must have and I cannot recommend it enough, easy to install with the step by step instructions. really makes the dashboard pop . I would also recommend getting the extra addition with the power supply, no more batteries, always a good thing.
Get one now, totally worth every penny.
Well Mike Lane has done it again, another great upgrade. The instructions for the pain that are optional, but lets face it, if your going to do the upgrade you will do the painting as well. I found for the silver the Tamiya Color X-11 CHROME SILVER works just as good.
Another must have. I didn't like the rubber mats that came with stage 45. Just take your time putting them in. I made a slight mistake that I can't reverse but lucky the front seats cover it!
A must have! The detail it adds to the model is great. Even if you're not going to weather it up even more after arrival it just adds a better realism to the model.

Stunning detail and super easy to fit , went on a dream and really does make a difference to the dash . 100% recomend any builder to add this to your model .
Also came with a little chocolate bar which the grandaughter promptly pinched n ate !
A must have for your KITT. The top of the dashboard has no personality, flat mat black. Adding these can be the life of the party, 3 actual grills that make the underdeveloped dash sparkle with Mike's creativity. The best way to describe the improvement is when your spouse wakes up. they look one way. But when they get ready to go out for a fun packed evening, makeup and all, the look is totally different and usually a "WOW" . So here is makeup for the KITT dashboard ready to go out and party.
(Why we spend a lot of money on these builds and they come with simplistic details and then someone like Mike Lane makes an inexpensive modification; why does the manufacture not see or do this in the first place?)
Outstanding little detail item. These are exceptionally well made the die cutting on these is superb they are held at the ends and each on is perfect and secure on the sheet. A joy to use these. I expected them to be very fiddley because of the small size but to be honest they are not too bad to handle. The "stem" end of the tie is firm enough to get through the eye in the tag end easily. It is also long enough to let go of it to get a new grip without undoing itself. While they are not really designed to be structural, they do in fact work well if you respect their limits. Great addition to my highly modified Agora Porsche 917 build. Will be looking for more of these very soon because they are so useful and add so much to the look.

Incredibly easy to install and I am at stage 71, so I thought it would be a hassle. I could slip the mats in without any trouble at all. They really add a whole new level of detail to the interior.
Super easy to install! I'm not the most agile person when working with tiny parts and using adhesive, but I found putting these on the model a breeze. They add so much life to the otherwise dull top of the dashboard. Another winner from Mike!
Love this solution vs. stock hubcap installation. Had a slight issue with the magnet not sticking to the hubcap. Contacted Mike and he got back to me right away and sorted it out. Excellent customer service!

These parts are amazing!! Fit like a glove from the front where the pedals are, to the back. The 11 pieces are easy to put on and gives the car a whole new look. It looks great!

These are great! Very well made, perfect fit and much more accurate than the ones Eaglemoss supplied. Managed to remove the originals from the wheels by pulling them out with blutack 👍🏼.
If you care about the interior of your model, then this mod is a must have! This dashboard panel looks 100x better than the one Eaglemoss gives you. If you are on the fence of purchasing one, I recommend you pull the trigger and purchase it before it sells out. It is a very easy install.
All of Mike Lane's mods are out of this world! Excellent! And this replica of a museum exhibit display is no exception! Highly detailed in every way. High quality. Professional. A must have to display under or near your DeLorean! All that's missing are the guide ropes around the car to keep visitors at a safe distance in your car museum exhibit! (ummm... I bet Mike is working on that idea.)
I have just received my delivery for the Plutonium case and clock face mods and they look fantastic. I am not yet to that stage in my build to use them but be looking at the mods I can tell that they are of the consistent standard of quality we have always received for Mike Lane. Keep up the good work.
This set of mini cable ties are my second set. They have proved to be such a great and wonderful detail to my DeLorean model. They give the model that extra special detail it needed other than what we get from Eaglemoss the this black wire and the large black wire ties. So thank you Mike Lane for being the person who notices this finer details not only for the DeLorean but all of the mods and models you do.
I just got the die-cast license plates & the wheel caps sets for the Ghostbuster ECTO-1. As usual excellent quality. It was very easy to install and It made a big difference. By the way, I am waiting for your new mods for the ECTO-1. Thank you mike !!
Die Kabelbinder waren für die Zündverkabelung des Porsche 917KH von IXO (1:8) überaus hilfreich. Mit etwas Übung und einer guten Lupenbrille lassen sie sich problemlos auch ohne Pinzette anbringen. Das Fixieren mit einem Tropfen Sekundenkleber kann ich nur empfehlen. Tolles, professionelles Tool.
Another fantastic Mike Lane mod! These small parts make such a huge difference to the look of the bumper, once you put them in it seems like an oversight by Deagostini to have left them out in the first place. Highly recommended.

It's all about the details. No matter how small, or how large. No matter if you really can't see it unless you point it out, or its in plain sight. It doesn't matter if it takes a second or two, or it take an hour or more . . . it's the details that make the build. And its artists like Mike Lane that make it happen.
I’ve started to build but add the mods as I do each separate kit from 1 upwards. It’s so much better than having to un assemble to fit. But Mikes instructions are easy to follow.
Just be patient and don’t rush it.

A really fantastic addition to a mostly fantastic but in parts patchy model. So glad i added these to my build... the kit supplied belts are pretty good, but look a bit frayed and tatty. Also the shoulder strap anchor points which are highly visible are very poor. This kit is first class, adds extra detail and realism and is an easy win on visual impact. Thanks Mike! Really hope you do more stuff for the F40. I would buy literally anything you produce!
Just finishing installing rear and front carpet mod. It looks way better then what eaglemoss gives you. Will definitely order some other mods from mikelane.

Much better than the original. Stickers of the original are not very adhesive and the detail is poor. Also, its does not have the eye bolts. This mod provides more detail and is easy to install. Recommend it.
Excellent value adds amazing detail to the boring spare tyre space, we went for the full kit with the tools. The kit is easy to fit and makes the bonnet area look stunning the tools are actual tiny tools not cheap cast solid scale tools Amazing
The Kit is amazing makes the Plutonium case look so much better really finishes it off, now the actual rods mod is much much better now they don't fall out when you lift them up.

Quick and easy mod that adds a nice touch of realism to the wheels, much better than those horrible screws and makes it easy to take the caps off to avoid scratching when having to flip the model on its side during the build.
Fast Delivery and well packed, the decals make a huge difference to the look of the model.
Quite easy to apply , my only criticism is they are printed too close together which doesn’t leave much surrounding paper once the decal has been positioned on the hatch so when you try and hold it in place and then rub over the decal with a pencil it makes it more awkward than it should have been.
Every single mod i have purchased for both the delorean and Ecto - 1 have been perfect !! What an absolutely amazing and talented guy !!

Easy to install and really adds realism to the hubcaps. Thanks for adding extra spare chromed silver hole cover stickers as I accidentally dropped one. I really love how these make KITT look. Looking forward to seeing what's up next for KITT!
Just fitted my first mod of the magnetic licence plate Parzival to my Delorean build and the quality is fantastic. There was even a extra magnetic backing for the Out A Time plate that came with issue 1 and because of the quality of Mike Lane licence plates I will now be getting his Out A Time plate instead of using the one supplied by Eaglemoss.

I have seen a few hun cap conversion kits out there and I am glad I bought this one, very easy to install and it looks great. Will be buying more from Mike lane mods in the future.
First of all these mods not only over exceeded my expectations (which were pretty high to begin with)
But the presentation was outstanding. Imagine being a little kid and having those outlandish dreamy expectations and having them met with literally gummy bears on top. The step-by-step easy to follow instructions were more that I could’ve asked for. I will always get everything Mike Lane has to offer for each build that I do.
Another perfect mod! So simple but the effect is staggering. This mod has transformed the display case from something that looked a bit like a toy into a proper little model in its own right. Am finally willing to display it alongside the car now!

Thank you so much Mike. These covers are excellent quality. They are so easy to install too. They certainly make a massive difference to how the Ecto 1 looks inside. Will certainly be making more purchases as my Ecto 1 comes together.
These are superb! Mike’s instructions complement the stickers but ensure you clean that surface perfectly, otherwise you will see every blemish. Remove the old ones with a hair dryer and alcohol. Highly recommend!
N.B. They are delicate when on, so ensure you assemble the doors first and affix them just before you screw them to the vehicle. I damaged one without realising it so had to use the ‘spare’.
Another fantastic mode Mike! Everything went together perfectly - the only issue I have is getting the paper backing peeled loose. The finished mod looks great!
These carpets are absolutely brilliant, & so east to install. The attention to detail has certainly added that bit of sparkle to what would have been a very basic model. These aer definitely a must for anyone bbuild this wonderful car.
Only just started the DELOREAN, had these for some time, only just used them last couple of days. Excellent product. These cable ties are much more accurate in size and scale and will definitely give your Delorean a decidedly more realistic look. Please note these these are a bit fiddly as they are quite tiny and take a bit of practice and patience. I recommend a few minutes of meditation before working with these. It will help to get you in the "zone" and hopefully alleviate any frustration that may occur whilst working with them. Thanks Mike for another great mod.
Everything that you would want in a mod; well made, beautiful to look at and easy to install. When set next to each other, the mod definitely makes the original plastic one look quite cheap. If you are looking to take your Delorean up to the next level, I'd highly recommend getting this mod. You will not be disappointed. Also, while messaging Mike I complimented both he and his team on their fine work. He informed me that he doesn't have a team of people working with him, he's a one man show. I just wanted everyone to know that because I, and probably a lot of other buyers, assumed that he has some huge, Wonka-esque factory churning out these mods. Nope, it's just him. Fair play to you Mike.
The attention to detail on these stickers is incredible. At first glance, I was already impressed with the craftmanship. I then had a look at them using the camera on my cell phone. I couldn't believe how crisp and accurate they were, even under the highest magnification. Fortunately I got these early on in my build so it is relatively easy to apply them as I go. Overall, I'm extremely happy with these. Chalk up another win for Mike Lane!

I just got the sticker set, even though I finished my Delorean over a year ago. They really complete the model and help make it as accurate as can be. The quality and detail is fantastic! The only stickers I couldn't use were the ones for the engine compartment as I would have had to disassemble quite a bit to put them on. It's definitely better to get the stickers if you're in the middle of building the model- but even if you're done, you can still get most of them on as I was able to. Keep up the great work, Mike! (And thanks for the gummi bears!)

These are truly awesome. They work perfectly and were no problem to mount. Every product from Mike is professionally made and packaged. I'm always impressed.
One suggestion to those using these. Tape off an area underneath the vent - slightly smaller - paint it black, flat, gloss whatever you've got. Then mount these vents. They will really pop - it brings out the slots in the vents versus the white hood as a background . Wyatt

Mike, your mods are amazing. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is outstanding. My Delorean build is much improved thanks to your hard work. If anyone is looking to take their build to the next level, Mike's upgrades are the way to go.
Mike has once again outdone himself here. Apart from the perfect appearance and the ingenious magnet technology, handling is also extremely easy. Yes, it's a nice-to-have and 90% of the people who look at your model would never tell the difference between the original and the Eaglemoss-supplied hubcap, but I'll see it every time you go to the Wagen looks and grins on both cheeks ... and that's all that matters.
Pretty simple and you can remove the protectors as needed and reapply as you assemble your model. I'm keeping the card backings just for that purpose so the clings don't get messed up during the build. Either way this will help prevent scratches. Thanks Mike for a very useful and easy to use resource.

I really thought this was going to be hard to install but it went really well. I’m mega-impressed with how much of a dynamic impact this mod creates and if you are also using the carpet mods (which is a must) the hatch and bailout wire look like they should have been a part of the default build. It just gives your time machine that extra something. Well done Mike, this is really cool!
These tiny cable ties are truly fantastic. Yes it takes patience but it’s 100% with it. I ordered one set to see how they worked and then ordered more including the black ties. These cables remedy the issue of the inaccurate and oversized cable ties but also really make your model pop with added realism.

This by-far one of the best mods Mike has to offer! This is what the car should of had in the first place and it makes it look so authentic and adds to the interior of the car perfectly. This mod is a must have, especially earlier on in the build. Definitely recommended.
A definitely much needed improvement to replace those horrible speakers that aren't even movie accurate. So easy to apply too. Hats off again to Mike!!
I just finished putting these carpets in the Ecto-1. I am totally amazed at the attention to detail in this modification. These were a lot easier to install than the Delorean. I had no trouble at all. They give a finished look to Ecto that Eaglemoss left off. The trim that goes over the edges was sheer genius, especially the small ones on each side. I am not an experience builder even at 73 year old, and rather clumsy. But if your build does not have the carpets, mine looks better than yours.

Postman called today and I received the Delco Battery Sleeve as part of the delivery - great quality as always with Mike Lane Mods, the sleeve is easy to apply and looks fantastic. Received and fitted my front seat back covers into the Ecto-1 same day they arrived. Excellent quality and fit. Adhesive backing is strong. Super easy to install. Tidies the front seats and makes them look more realistic. A great mod and couldn't be happier with my set.
Received and fitted my Delco battery sleeve today. Excellent quality and perfect fit. Battery was easy to remove with the forward panel that holds it in (am at issue 70). Looks incredible especially with the painted caps in the Tamiya lemon yellow paint recommended by Mike Lane. Couldn't be happier and cannot fault this product at all. A great little mod that makes a massive difference.
Worth the purchase. It really adds so much to the over all look of the model. Just be patient when installing it and dry fit it before hand to get a rough idea of how to install. Very pleased with this.
Wow these are great. They look and feel so much better than the originals from EM. Precisely cut to size means they fit perfectly. Would highly recommend watching the World Of Wayne video to help install... key is to line them up well as the backing is VERY sticky and adhesive.

Easy to install and is so well done. Precision fitting, easy to install, infinity improves the looks of the battery. Also, a good hint about painting the little caps on the Eaglemoss battery to look like it should.

Amazing one of the best mods out there for the model i had assembled the interior without the carpets and wasn't very pleased with it so i got these and put them on and it looks absolutely amazing this is a must have for any build up
If you're building the EM DeLorean then this should be considered a necessary mod. This mod is absolutely amazing and extremely easy to install. The EM interior falls short on many levels but this is one easy way to improve that. Be sure to get the heel and toe pad, and stock up on cable ties and all stickers available, the levels of detail the mods will add to your build are amazing.
These things are fantastic! And I know they are not meant to hold the cables together structurally... but they do. Handle with care while installing and you'll find they have sufficient strength to hold your wiring together. I add a small drop of CA after binding and they are locked in with no chance of slipping. No need for anything further to bind/hold your wiring together. A must have!

Mike, again exceeds himself, with these mini cable ties. The detail and craftsmanship that goes into this product is phenomenal, as they are so small and delicate, but I had a great time installing them on my Delorean, and now it looks even more amazing than the standard black wrap-around wire we were provided. This is my first mod for the Delorean and I'm very impressed. For somebody who can't line up stickers I found this very easy. The quality and graphics are 10 out of 10 and the packaging is superb. Can't wait to get my next lot of mods from Mike Lane

These are phenomenal replicas of the screen used plates, and the perfect way to bring your Eaglemoss model as close to screen accurate as possible. Even the OUTATIME plate is a big upgrade to the standard one you get from the magazine issue. Plus, the magnetic adhesive pads are simple to install. Switching out the plates is very easy.

These carpets are so great, they fit the car great and look amazing if you don't buy them for your car, the car will not be complete. This is my second purchase from Mike Lane and the products that he puts out are so great and professional and the prices are very fair too.
I was absolutely surprised at the level of detail of these metal plates and it was worth the wait to get them. I am not exaggerating when I say that they are beyond my expectations. The raised letters and screen accurate colors indeed make your time machine pop. The directions are well written and the packaging it top notch. As others haves stated this is a MUST mod for your Delorean. I felt like a twelve year old kid adding them and switching them out. My son is equally impressed as I am with the Ready Player One PARZIVAL option. Rock and Roll!
A small but much-needed improvement. The storage lid is simple to install and really adds that sense of authenticity to the Delorean. It looks, without a doubt, a million times better than the speakers included that weren't even in the movie car. The bailout ball and wire are also another great improvements. Another winner from Mike!
Wow! Mike has outdone himself again. These just arrived yesterday and they are already on my Delorean. The plates are packed with such care in a protective case so that there is no chance they'll get scratched in transit. Simple to install, and the detail is incredible. I also love the guitar pick as a license plate remover! Brilliant!

I am such a fan of Back to the Future and this car. I love all versions of the vehicle and will love displaying every version of the car and change them out. The build does not allow for easy, damage-free changes to allow the car to be a universal model for each version. These are essential along with the regular DMC caps to make this possible and I am forever in Mike Lanes debt for allowing me to be able to display this car as I want it whenever I want it!
A BIG thank you! I’ve been modelling for over 60 years and this man is the poster child of customer service! I had ordered many items for my BTTF DeLorean. I had received the white tie wraps and apparently one of these packs escaped Mike’s quality control inspection. I emailed Mike my issue with the wraps and that next day he apologised for the defect and promptly sent out a replacement pack(s). Like I said he is the ‘Poster Child for Customer Service’, thank-you Mike.

Beautifully made parts provided in both safe packaging for transport but also for permanent keeping. The optional magnetic or permanent attachment options are great! If you don’t have this then get it! It’s a great addition with the other mods to get more from the model

After messing about cutting insulation tape into strips which unraveled overnight, these cable tidies are brilliant, the scale looks spot on the delivery was reasonably quick I'm very impressed.
Playmobil really made a great version of the Delorean, but clearly missed a few key details. Fortunately, these mods take care of those deficiencies, especially the flux band wires, or lack thereof. The oversized wires really fit well with the vehicle style and look like they came with the car.
Just received some of these in my 3rd order from Mike, they are superb! I'm going to wait to do the main 4 tyres at the end of my build but did the one on the spare straight away (I am not known for my patience!), they look absolutely fantastic. I am sure Mike was great as a GD because he has such great attention to detail and presentation. Do your model a favour and get a set of these, I will def. be ordering the tyre dressing to protect them too.
I wasn't expecting to be as bowled-over by this product as I actually am! In fact I hadn't actually intended to buy these at all but, after having placed two orders with Mike and doing some other mods, I came to realise that I was too far down the line to "cheap out" now. I am so glad I got this product because the difference these tiny pieces make to the visual impact of the model is truly astounding. I am only about 20% of the way through placing them around the vehicle but the effect is already obvious, I can't believe that I thought I could do without them. Not only do they look great but they are also really nice to work with, I am finding the process of installing them to be most cathartic! I have no issue with recommending these as an essential mod for the DeLorean build.
First class mod. Carpets fit perfectly. Take your time lining up and fitting, don't rush and they'll look great. Much better now than standard plastic flooring.
They look great but I don't have some of the issues that these belong to yet but I put them on the ones I do have when find my Magnifying glass but they still look great with being on the car yet
Perfect fit, really makes a difference getting rid of the ugly huge screw holes! Just be careful when sanding the Mr Fusion that you don't sand any areas not covered by the vinyl! (Not Mike's fault, my own fault completely!) 😀
These fit PERFECTLY. I don't know how he does it! Just beware, they are VERY sticky, so they stay stuck. A real fit and forget part. Really bring the interior to life.
Really brings the car to life, the window and warning stickers add a real feel to the whole car. They look perfect, couldn't find a way to better them!

These are such a small, and sorely missed detail in the original model. Once again, Mike Lane comes to the rescue!! Easy installation and you'll wonder how you didn't notice it was missing and how important it is to the overall detail of the interior in the first place. Another stellar mod from Mike!
This kind of mod always makes me sweat a lot. I am not great at doing this kind of mod in general, so I was a bit hesitant when I embarked upon the journey of putting the carpet in my Delorean. It was actually much easier than I thought and as long as you do it carefully, and I mean carefully, it's not difficult at all. I cannot emphasize enough that you must take your time and do not rush when installing these carpets. The end result is well worth it. The interior looks outstanding once the carpeting is installed. Another A+ mod from Mike!!

I was really intimidated about doing the rub-on transfer for the reactor but it turned out to be extremely easy by following Mike's instructions, and the fact that there is an extra backup really helped. As with the other decal sets and mods this one is stellar.
Bought these to replace those horrible screws that were given with the original build great value and adds alot more detail to the model. Keep up the work and waiting for the next mods.
I'm just starting out on my Eaglemoss DeLorean adventure and my first Mike Lane order which includes the amazing 'fuel' arrived today. Amazing! Even my wife (who is not into models) is impressed with the level of detail on the miniatures. I cannot imagine building the Time Machine without these modifications. This may be my first, but I will definitely continue with further enhancement from Mike Lane. Really, truly, amazed.

It takes people like Mike Lane to come up with Brilliant ideas and make them come to life. What a great Mod. I ordered the carpeting awhile ago and got the issue for the DeLorean today for the interior. The Mod installed great with no issues. I highly recommend this mod, it truly take the car to the next level.

Big detail: I saw the movie a couple of times more and i realize that the doors also have metal frame so i put it in all the places!
This mod really took the hood to another level! There’s small areas where the illusion that they shrunk the actual ecto-1 is broken. And this fixes one of the most obvious signs. Just amazing, can’t recommend it more!
A great mod. If you plan on changing up your wheels for the white walls or the train wheels then back you need this mod or you will damage you DMC center caps and rims.

Mike's Hood Box kit is incredibly well done. It's an essential upgrade to make the hood box look like it did in the movie. The time and effort to so accurately design this kit is extraordinary. This is the fourth mod I've gotten from Mike for my DeLorean, and all of them have been fantastic. Well done, Mike!
Beautifully made, easy to fit. If you're going to be swapping wheels or need to remove the wheels during your build these are "must haves", as prising the stock wheel caps out of the wheel centre will damage either the cap or the wheel.
When I received these hood vents the first thing that struck me was how well packaged they were. Upon opening them I was so impressed with the detail Of the vents and the ease of fitting the mods.
Would definitely recommend these as they really are an improvement on the original supplied vents

I bought so many of Mike's mods and they are all amazing and simple to apply while making the Delorean look better and better with each new mod. These tyre transfers were a bit daunting for me at first, but once I started applying them, I realized how easy they were to transfer onto the tyres. They adhere almost effortlessly (but you have to be careful to rub every letter and part off carefully, or else you'll have crooked/odd lettering like I did. Oops!) and really make the car look authentic. Another amazing mod!!
What a master piece, really well thought out, bit of a faff if you have all ready put it all together having to take everything apart again, before buying this up grade. Well worth taking your time in putting this together, Easy to build and adds such a lot to the model.
Mine just arrived. Great detail. As the vents are front and center this mod is a mandatory. Eagle moss really missed on this one. The EM version with those god-awful screws......EM could have done these on theirs for no increase in cost, my guess. Come on Eaglemoss, make the change now!
I got the BTTF edition, and I love it. I love how you can put a magnet on the Eaglemoss plate. I can use the EM plate, Mike's OUTATIME plate and the barcode plate, and they're super easy to switch out. It's better to put the plates on before you combine the rear of the car with the rest of the car, but it was pretty easy to put the plates on after doing that anyway.
The wheel caps work great. Too bad Eaglemoss didn't foresee this issue with changing out the tires. These wheel caps look great and function really well.
It's fantastic! The screw holes didn't bother me, but Mr. Fusion looks so much better with the vinyl wrap on it. I used spackle to fill the holes, then sanded down the parts that needed to be sanded and applied the wrap. Excellent work, Mike!
Another absolute must have item especially if you are wanting to change the wheels easily without causing damage to gain access to the screws.

Admittedly, the large screw holes on the Mr. Fusion didn’t bother me as much as I thought they would. That being said, this vinyl wrap is an easy application item that improves the look tremendously. It covers the screw holes and updates the logo giving it an authentic look! It’s an easy and affordable upgrade that makes a world of difference!
I just received the smaller bonnet insert and fits like a glove! It arrived at the same time as my new 3D-printed spare tire/rim, so away we go! Again, Thanks, Mike!
You have to add this mod to the Delorean otherwise how will it run? The detail on the beer can and bananas is amazing for how small they are. Perfect fit in the Mr Fusion as well. Don’t skip this mod if you want to get it as real as possible. It will bring a smile to your face after having to deal with the tiny springs in issue 4.

Hey, Mike, you did it again! These rub-down transfers are the cat's pyjamas! They're not only spot-on with the lettering font and style, but your removal cloth also rids the tyres of the inaccurate EM lettering on the backside of each. Top notch! With all of your mods I purchased, the model should be called the ML edition instead of the EM edition. Keep up the great re-work-ing!
Amazing quality, and really help the interior of the car look like it should. A quality set of needle nose tweezers really helps with the installation of these, but really is worth the effort fitting them. They look fantastic.

There was an earlier version of this mod that I struggled with and Mike was incredibly supportive and helped me out with. His customer service is amazing! This new version erases all the troubles I had with the first version. It's so easy now! I love it! The barcode plate is the best plate, change my mind XD ...I can't believe EM didn't include the barcode plate. This is perfect.
You can't build the car without these. The difference it makes is incredible. They go on like they belong there, because they do. I always get scared I'll mess things up, but it was actually very forgiving. If I can do it, you can too! This is a must have mod. This one tiny detail changes the feel of the entire interior of your car.
These tiny little details really do matter. The coloring on the time display being corrected is my favorite part of this pack. And of course, the switch button panel is almost mandatory. After that, the rest of these decals are just icing on the cake! I always get scared I'll mess up with my fat fingers, but with a little patience they all went on perfectly!
I can't wait to get these installed in my bonnet! I'm waiting for the rest of my subscription but getting more excited by the moment when I see these Mike Lane Mods! For something that goes largely unnoticed you won't beleive how you ever thought of building the car without these. Very easy to apply and fit like a glove. With the usual Mike Lane quality you will be very glad you bought these.

Trust Eaglemoss to go and issue the dash with a big printing error and then try and fix it later on with a sticker to put over the front of the thing. The fix works, but it also blocks the amount of light that can shine through from the LED behind the dash board. So trust Mike Lane to come up with not only a fix that ensures the DMC logo is right way up, but also that improves the graphics quality and adds a couple of extra elements to the display. Plus you get a bonus perspex dash cover, which Eaglemoss completely forgot to include into the build. I chose the 0mph edition because my car is stationary, but the 88mph version is just as awesome, and it's nice to have a choice of which one to order.
I wanted a carpet for my DeLorean but I didn't want to have to bother drawing up a template and cutting the thing to the right shape. Enter Mike Lane with his ready cut, sticky backed carpet. This was one of the first mods I ordered for my DeLorean and it really does add that little bit of extra realism to EM's basic model. Easy enough to apply and there's buckley's chance it will ever unstick itself. That's some impressive glue you've got on these Mike. I can't imagine my DeLorean without it now. Thanks Mike. You've raised the bar on quality yet again.
These ARE the decals you've been looking for!!! How much more authentic does the build look with the edition of the engine and windows stickers? Blown away by your attention to 1:8 scale detail once again Mike.
Folks, if you purchase only 1 decal set in your lifetime, make it this set. You will believe a DeLorean can fly.... well.... you'll believe a 1:8 scale Eaglemoss DeLorean can look incredibly more accurate than an unmodded version. Well worth every penny.

I got this one mainly for the sticker that covers up those ugly 1-6 numbers on the button console. Everything else that came with this set is just an added bonus. Thanks Mike. This was a mod that I didn't think I'd want until I saw those gorgeous little 1:8 scale tools in their own little 1:8 scale pre-shaped holders. You've outdone yourself once again Mike. Absolutely loving the way this looks when the bonnet gets opened on my DeLorean model. Everyone who's seen it so far has been very impressed with the craftsmanship of this one and the amount of detail in every tool, some of which have moving parts. Well worth the dosh, and it adds that little extra bit of awesomeness to the build. Highly recommended.

These cable ties are great - as great as all mods from Mike Lane! I enjoy the details again and again. These tiny cable ties actually work like their big role models.

I love these decals. They add details that are missing in the supplied model. Again, it's all about adding subtle details to boost the realism of the DeLorean model.
Great quality item that adds another level of realism to the model. The originally supplied cableties are the wrong colour and far too big which ruins the DeLorean cabin. Like all of Mike's mods these are essential for your build.
Another must-have mod for your model. The carpet really improves the realism cabin of the DeLorean no end. A lot of thought went into the design of this mod as all the pieces are precision cut and perfectly measured to ensure a great fit. The glue is super-strong, so there is no danger of any corners lifting over time.

This was on of the first mods I bought for my Delorean and the first thing that sprang out was the fantastic packaging ,the decals went on the car perfectly and enhance the appearance over the stock decals

I have just started building DeLorean in the
Netherlands. but have already bought the decal mods, carpet and trunk mod. This way I can easily place everything nicely during building and thus taking the DeLorean to a different level in detail. let us say from OUT A TIME .

This panel mod is not only cool but a must as the original one that comes with the kit has a logo misprint. This mod not only corrects that, it also has light blocking and includes a clear 'glass' pane that makes the dash look just like the real car. Thank you Mike for all your efforts and attention to detail.
If EM was going to make it possible to add Mr. Fusion and tilt the wheels into hover mode, the license plate should've been able to change too. Thankfully, Mike's license plate mod gives your model a personalized touch!
We have the original issue of the future plate from Mike. Wish we would have waited for the newer version(s) seen here. Our version is still swap-able to the future license plate and that is priceless.
Decal set 2 makes me think, do I really need that? Then it arrived. YES, I really needed it. It adds detail that is missing on the original kit, hides screw holes, and more. Once again, Mike's mods takes the average model to a new level. Don't hesitate... get them now!
Firstly, the seat and door covers are amazing and you'll forget all about those pesky screw holes. The detailed decals on the doors are a nice touch, too!
Decal set 1 takes the Delorean time circuits and more to a new level of accuracy. Not only do they look awesome but they correct what is wrong with the original kit or adds to what is missing. So glad these are available.
The carpet mod is perfect for the model. It is cut to fit all the contours of the floor. Once it is installed it makes the model look so realistic. This is a must upgrade for the Delorean.
You perfectly corrected what Eaglemoss screwed up. Corrected DMC logo, more details and even a glass cover. Now it feels and looks as it should. Thank you big time 😉 🙂

I bought this initially because I disliked the "reflective" month and year stickers EM had on the license plate (being from California I knew they were wrong). What I like about the licence plates? That they even come with a mod for the original EM plates! So you have the choice to use one of these new plates or quickly change it with the old one.

This dash does make a difference since is lightyears superior even compared to the corrected Eaglemoss part. You just cannot build the DeLorean without this great piece of detail, you simply can't.

Found it tricky to the underside of the front bumper without the risk of damaging the board and wiring so relocated the controller and wiring to under the bonnet. Excellent must have mod that adds life to the model that really should have been there from the start. Well worth the tear down to install, cants stop looking at it.

These are a fantastic way to display a museum-quality piece. Easy to assemble, and customizable to fit just about any model you would choose to display! I had the pleasure of displaying my completed 1:8 Scale DeLorean Time Machine at the Forney Museum of Transportation in Denver and the display was enhanced so much by these stanchions and ropes. If you want your car to look like it's being cared for by the Petersen Automotive Museum as the actual DeLorean 'A' car is, these are essential! I love them 🙂

I didn't have to prepare my Kitt because I'm still in the early stages of the build. All I had to do was remove the monitors that I've previously purchased from Mike to complete the digital dash installation. Everything worked and looked perfect. 👌

I just received the sticker set along with other mods...and all I can say is WOOOW!!!!! They are incredible. They really complete the model and help make it as accurate as possible. The quality and detail are fantastic! And the best of all is that I already have the complete set to use as I build the DeLorean!! First time ordering 2 mods for my KITT model. I had to back track to install the grilles but it was definitely worth it. Thankfully I had not installed the nose cone yet, just had to remove the fog lights. Hopefully a future mod may be a more realistic blackout panel for the rear lights...

The cable extenders are so needed. I no longer have to reroute cables when they are too short. Mike always makes the most useful items. These are a quality product and if you are doing the Delorean, buy a bunch of these. They fix the designers mistakes and, as in my case, builders mistakes. I have used them in several builds so far. I may be short of skills, but I will never be short of a cable.

Mike has done it again! These transfers are a must have; but then again, all of Mike's mods are a must have. I totally replaced the stock part with the 3D print from Gavin Millar, kicking it up another notch by getting Adrian Dinca's #3D internal parts that together make up the best Gold Box you can get! Highly recommend getting all three mods to create what Eaglemoss should have done in the first place!
I agree with another review: Drop the 5-individual starts and just have a 5-Star selection, because there really is no other logical choice here!

If you are building this model, this is an absolute must have and I cannot recommend it enough, easy to install with the step by step instructions. really makes the dashboard pop . I would also recommend getting the extra addition with the power supply, no more batteries, always a good thing.

Well Mike Lane has done it again, another great upgrade. The instructions for the pain that are optional, but lets face it, if your going to do the upgrade you will do the painting as well. I found for the silver the Tamiya Color X-11 CHROME SILVER works just as good.

A must have for your KITT. The top of the dashboard has no personality, flat mat black. Adding these can be the life of the party, 3 actual grills that make the underdeveloped dash sparkle with Mike's creativity. The best way to describe the improvement is when your spouse wakes up. they look one way. But when they get ready to go out for a fun packed evening, makeup and all, the look is totally different and usually a "WOW" . So here is makeup for the KITT dashboard ready to go out and party.
(Why we spend a lot of money on these builds and they come with simplistic details and then someone like Mike Lane makes an inexpensive modification; why does the manufacture not see or do this in the first place?)

Outstanding little detail item. These are exceptionally well made the die cutting on these is superb they are held at the ends and each on is perfect and secure on the sheet. A joy to use these. I expected them to be very fiddley because of the small size but to be honest they are not too bad to handle. The "stem" end of the tie is firm enough to get through the eye in the tag end easily. It is also long enough to let go of it to get a new grip without undoing itself. While they are not really designed to be structural, they do in fact work well if you respect their limits. Great addition to my highly modified Agora Porsche 917 build. Will be looking for more of these very soon because they are so useful and add so much to the look.

I’ve started to build but add the mods as I do each separate kit from 1 upwards. It’s so much better than having to un assemble to fit. But Mikes instructions are easy to follow.
Just be patient and don’t rush it.

A really fantastic addition to a mostly fantastic but in parts patchy model. So glad i added these to my build... the kit supplied belts are pretty good, but look a bit frayed and tatty. Also the shoulder strap anchor points which are highly visible are very poor. This kit is first class, adds extra detail and realism and is an easy win on visual impact. Thanks Mike! Really hope you do more stuff for the F40. I would buy literally anything you produce!

Fast Delivery and well packed, the decals make a huge difference to the look of the model.
Quite easy to apply , my only criticism is they are printed too close together which doesn’t leave much surrounding paper once the decal has been positioned on the hatch so when you try and hold it in place and then rub over the decal with a pencil it makes it more awkward than it should have been.

These are superb! Mike’s instructions complement the stickers but ensure you clean that surface perfectly, otherwise you will see every blemish. Remove the old ones with a hair dryer and alcohol. Highly recommend!
N.B. They are delicate when on, so ensure you assemble the doors first and affix them just before you screw them to the vehicle. I damaged one without realising it so had to use the ‘spare’.

These cable ties are much more accurate in size and scale and will definitely give your Delorean a decidedly more realistic look. Please note these these are a bit fiddly as they are quite tiny and take a bit of practice and patience. I recommend a few minutes of meditation before working with these. It will help to get you in the "zone" and hopefully alleviate any frustration that may occur whilst working with them. Thanks Mike for another great mod.

I just got the sticker set, even though I finished my Delorean over a year ago. They really complete the model and help make it as accurate as can be. The quality and detail is fantastic! The only stickers I couldn't use were the ones for the engine compartment as I would have had to disassemble quite a bit to put them on. It's definitely better to get the stickers if you're in the middle of building the model- but even if you're done, you can still get most of them on as I was able to. Keep up the great work, Mike! One suggestion to those using these. Tape off an area underneath the vent - slightly smaller - paint it black, flat, gloss whatever you've got. Then mount these vents. They will really pop - it brings out the slots in the vents versus the white hood as a background . Wyatt

Pretty simple and you can remove the protectors as needed and reapply as you assemble your model. I'm keeping the card backings just for that purpose so the clings don't get messed up during the build. Either way this will help prevent scratches. I just finished putting these carpets in the Ecto-1. I am totally amazed at the attention to detail in this modification. These were a lot easier to install than the Delorean. I had no trouble at all. They give a finished look to Ecto that Eaglemoss left off. The trim that goes over the edges was sheer genius, especially the small ones on each side. I am not an experience builder even at 73 year old, and rather clumsy. But if your build does not have the carpets, mine looks better than yours.

Received and fitted my Delco battery sleeve today. Excellent quality and perfect fit. Battery was easy to remove with the forward panel that holds it in (am at issue 70). Looks incredible especially with the painted caps in the Tamiya lemon yellow paint recommended by Mike Lane. Couldn't be happier and cannot fault this product at all. A great little mod that makes a massive difference.

If you're building the EM DeLorean then this should be considered a necessary mod. This mod is absolutely amazing and extremely easy to install. The EM interior falls short on many levels but this is one easy way to improve that. Be sure to get the heel and toe pad, and stock up on cable ties and all stickers available, the levels of detail the mods will add to your build are amazing.

These things are fantastic! And I know they are not meant to hold the cables together structurally... but they do. Handle with care while installing and you'll find they have sufficient strength to hold your wiring together. I add a small drop of CA after binding and they are locked in with no chance of slipping. No need for anything further to bind/hold your wiring together. A must have!

These are phenomenal replicas of the screen used plates, and the perfect way to bring your Eaglemoss model as close to screen accurate as possible. Even the OUTATIME plate is a big upgrade to the standard one you get from the magazine issue. Plus, the magnetic adhesive pads are simple to install. Switching out the plates is very easy.

I was absolutely surprised at the level of detail of these metal plates and it was worth the wait to get them. I am not exaggerating when I say that they are beyond my expectations. The raised letters and screen accurate colors indeed make your time machine pop. The directions are well written and the packaging it top notch. As others haves stated this is a MUST mod for your Delorean. I felt like a twelve year old kid adding them and switching them out. A small but much-needed improvement. The storage lid is simple to install and really adds that sense of authenticity to the Delorean. I am such a fan of Back to the Future and this car. I love all versions of the vehicle and will love displaying every version of the car and change them out. The build does not allow for easy, damage-free changes to allow the car to be a universal model for each version. A BIG thank you! I’ve been modelling for over 60 years and this man is the poster child of customer service! I had ordered many items for my BTTF DeLorean. I had received the white tie wraps and apparently one of these packs escaped Mike’s quality control inspection. I emailed Mike my issue with the wraps and that next day he apologised for the defect and promptly sent out a replacement pack(s). Playmobil really made a great version of the Delorean, but clearly missed a few key details. Fortunately, these mods take care of those deficiencies, especially the flux band wires, or lack thereof. The oversized wires really fit well with the vehicle style and look like they came with the car.

Just received some of these in my 3rd order from Mike, they are superb! I'm going to wait to do the main 4 tyres at the end of my build but did the one on the spare straight away (I am not known for my patience!), they look absolutely fantastic. I am sure Mike was great as a GD because he has such great attention to detail and presentation. I wasn't expecting to be as bowled-over by this product as I actually am! In fact I hadn't actually intended to buy these at all but, after having placed two orders with Mike and doing some other mods, I came to realise that I was too far down the line to "cheap out" now. I am so glad I got this product because the difference these tiny pieces make to the visual impact of the model is truly astounding. I am only about 20% of the way through placing them around the vehicle but the effect is already obvious, I can't believe that I thought I could do without them. Not only do they look great but they are also really nice to work with, I am finding the process of installing them to be most cathartic! I have no issue with recommending these as an essential mod for the DeLorean build.

This kind of mod always makes me sweat a lot. I am not great at doing this kind of mod in general, so I was a bit hesitant when I embarked upon the journey of putting the carpet in my Delorean. It was actually much easier than I thought and as long as you do it carefully, and I mean carefully, it's not difficult at all. I cannot emphasize enough that you must take your time and do not rush when installing these carpets. The end result is well worth it. The interior looks outstanding once the carpeting is installed. I bought so many of Mike's mods and they are all amazing and simple to apply while making the Delorean look better and better with each new mod. These tyre transfers were a bit daunting for me at first, but once I started applying them, I realized how easy they were to transfer onto the tyres. They adhere almost effortlessly (but you have to be careful to rub every letter and part off carefully, or else you'll have crooked/odd lettering like I did. Oops!) and really make the car look authentic. Another amazing mod!!

I got the BTTF edition, and I love it. I love how you can put a magnet on the Eaglemoss plate. I can use the EM plate, Mike's OUTATIME plate and the barcode plate, and they're super easy to switch out. It's better to put the plates on before you combine the rear of the car with the rest of the car, but it was pretty easy to put the plates on after doing that anyway.

It's fantastic! The screw holes didn't bother me, but Mr. Fusion looks so much better with the vinyl wrap on it. I used spackle to fill the holes, then sanded down the parts that needed to be sanded and applied the wrap. Excellent work, Mike!

Every time Mike mod improve 100% more the EM standard version, but believe me this one improve a million time more.

Admittedly, the large screw holes on the Mr. Fusion didn’t bother me as much as I thought they would. That being said, this vinyl wrap is an easy application item that improves the look tremendously. You have to add this mod to the Delorean otherwise how will it run? The detail on the beer can and bananas is amazing for how small they are. Perfect fit in the Mr Fusion as well. Don’t skip this mod if you want to get it as real as possible. It will bring a smile to your face after having to deal with the tiny springs in issue 4.

Hey, Mike, you did it again! These rub-down transfers are the cat's pyjamas! They're not only spot-on with the lettering font and style, but your removal cloth also rids the tyres of the inaccurate EM lettering on the backside of each. Top notch! With all of your mods I purchased, the model should be called the ML edition instead of the EM edition. Keep up the great re-work-ing!

There was an earlier version of this mod that I struggled with and Mike was incredibly supportive and helped me out with. His customer service is amazing! This new version erases all the troubles I had with the first version. It's so easy now! I love it! You can't build the car without these. The difference it makes is incredible. They go on like they belong there, because they do. I always get scared I'll mess things up, but it was actually very forgiving. If I can do it, you can too! This is a must have mod. This one tiny detail changes the feel of the entire interior of your car.

These tiny little details really do matter. The coloring on the time display being corrected is my favorite part of this pack. And of course, the switch button panel is almost mandatory. After that, the rest of these decals are just icing on the cake! I always get scared I'll mess up with my fat fingers, but with a little patience they all went on perfectly!

I don’t normally leave feedback as from a large organisation you expect quality but for Mike I just had to because what you get is totally amazing. Remember this is one person on his own dedicated to providing quality decals at amazing prices. I have purchase many items through Mike and have spoken to him for advice. He has always been helpful and you can tell he does this for the joy of it. So the products themselves, they come very well packaged and not just the delivery box the decals come in cool back to the future card wallets it’s a joy to open. Trust Eaglemoss to go and issue the dash with a big printing error and then try and fix it later on with a sticker to put over the front of the thing. The fix works, but it also blocks the amount of light that can shine through from the LED behind the dash board. So trust Mike Lane to come up with not only a fix that ensures the DMC logo is right way up, but also that improves the graphics quality and adds a couple of extra elements to the display. Plus you get a bonus perspex dash cover, which Eaglemoss completely forgot to include into the build. I chose the 0mph edition because my car is stationary, but the 88mph version is just as awesome, and it's nice to have a choice of which one to order.

I wanted a carpet for my DeLorean but I didn't want to have to bother drawing up a template and cutting the thing to the right shape. Enter Mike Lane with his ready cut, sticky backed carpet. This was one of the first mods I ordered for my DeLorean and it really does add that little bit of extra realism to EM's basic model. Easy enough to apply and there's buckley's chance it will ever unstick itself. That's some impressive glue you've got on these Mike. I can't imagine my DeLorean without it now. Thanks Mike. You've raised the bar on quality yet again.

This was a mod that I didn't think I'd want until I saw those gorgeous little 1:8 scale tools in their own little 1:8 scale pre-shaped holders. You've outdone yourself once again Mike. This panel mod is not only cool but a must as the original one that comes with the kit has a logo misprint. This mod not only corrects that, it also has light blocking and includes a clear 'glass' pane that makes the dash look just like the real car.
