Rear Seatback Cover with Metal Trims
£32.00 ex VAT
MADE TO ORDERUSUALLY DISPATCHED WITHIN 7-14 DAYS
Featuring pre-applied, pre-painted metal components, this self-adhesive seatback cover fits directly onto the back of the rear jump seat – hiding the screws and adding further accuracy and realism to your Ecto-1 model.
This highly detailed rear cover is easy to install and features a felt backing, replicating exactly how the jump seat in the real Ecto-1 looks. The seatback also includes metal trims, again matching that of the real Ecto-1 precisely, even down to the screw-hole detailing.
The back of the rear jump seat is particularly noticeable and is visible from most angles within the model – making this an important mod for your Ecto-1’s interior detailing.
The permanent 3M self-adhesive backing strengthens over time, giving a long-lasting secure fixing to your model.
Before you start
The nub on the left side of the standard plastic seatback requires trimming off before fitting the rear cover (see application photos – step 4). This is easily achieved with a sharp blade. Please take care!
For an optimal finish, ensure all screws on the back of the jump seat are tight and not protruding.
Painting the baseplate
An optional but recommended step is to paint the silver baseplate black (see application photos – steps 1–3). I would recommend one coat of Tamiya Fine Surface Primer followed by a coat of Tamiya TS-6 Matt Black. This will add further accuracy as this part shouldn’t be silver.
What’s included:
- 1 x Self-adhesive rear seatback cover with pre-applied metal trims

Great addition to an already fantastic list of mods from Mike. Have bought many of the mods that Mike makes for my Ecto1, DeLorean and Porsche 911. Always superbly presented and very well packaged. Recommended to everyone. A true gentleman. Thanks Mike, keep up the good work!
