Brake Calliper Transfers

Designed for Issues 3 and 9 of the Build the K2000 KITT Knight Rider by DeAgostini/Fanhome/Altaya.
Produced in metallic gold inks, these premium rub-on transfers are designed to add extra detailing to KITT’s front brake callipers.
These transfers are easy to apply and are designed for use on black callipers. Simply prime and paint your existing silver callipers for a more authentic Knight Industries look for KITT.
Whilst completely optional, they also look most effective alongside my black metal brake discs – available here.
Painting tip:
For painting the vented plastic disc behind the metal brake discs, I would recommend a coat of Tamiya Fine Surface Primer, followed by two coats of Tamiya TS-6 Matt Black.
For painting your callipers, I would recommend a coat of Tamiya Fine Surface Primer, followed by two coats of Tamiya TS-14 Gloss Black. Once dry, you’re free to apply your transfers.
These are just my recommendations, you can of course opt for your own choice of paints. I would recommend acrylics and for the best overall effect use a gloss black for the calliper, and a matt black for the vented brake discs.
