Take your 1:8 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 to the next level in realism with these self-adhesive and professionally cut scale carpets.
Designed for the footwells with a pre-installed moulded heel pad on the driver’s side, these carpets are designed to look as authentic to the original as possible. They are easy to install and designed to fit your model perfectly – just peel and stick!
What’s wrong with the Eaglemoss rubber floor mats?
The rubber floor mats which Eaglemoss provide at Issue 45 were originally an accessory sold by Cadillac dealers to lay on top of the footwell carpets, so whilst not entirely wrong for a Cadillac model they are wrong for the Ecto-1. They are not visible in the movie and are not present in the restored Ecto-1.
With this in mind, installing the rubber floor mats at Issue 45 is totally optional, they look nice – however, for accuracy I would recommend leaving them out of the model entirely.
Before you start
Before installing the carpets you will need to remove the Eaglemoss rubber floor mats (if already installed at Issue 45) and also roll back any sticky strips that remain. Only install the carpets when the footwells are clean and free from any residue left from the rubber floor mats. This is a straightforward and easy process, and will give a better finish when installing the carpets. Another must have. I didn't like the rubber mats that came with stage 45. Just take your time putting them in. I made a slight mistake that I can't reverse but lucky the front seats cover it!

Wow these are great. They look and feel so much better than the originals from EM. Precisely cut to size means they fit perfectly. Would highly recommend watching the World Of Wayne video to help install... key is to line them up well as the backing is VERY sticky and adhesive.
