These magnetic train wheel caps have been specially designed to replace the plastic caps supplied with the 1:8 Eaglemoss/DeAgostini DeLorean Time Machine within the extended issues.
Moulded from solid, rare-earth neodymium, each magnet is produced to the highest standard with a durable black epoxy coating. These magnets both look and function better than their plastic counterparts – an essential mod for your DeLorean!
They give you quick, easy access to the screws for when you need to remove the train wheels for swapping or tightening, and fit the model perfectly.
Other than removing the existing plastic caps if you’ve already installed them, there is no set-up or pre-installation required. These magnetic train wheel caps are immediately compatible with your model and will work right out of the box.
Two sets of train caps are provided, each with different magnetic pole directions (polarity), ensuring maximum compatibility with your model.
Important: When removing the magnetic caps, please ensure you use the protective tab included (as demonstrated in the photos and instructions). Place the protective tab between the cap and the magnetic rod to help protect the caps during removal. The magnets are extremely strong, so try to avoid any violent clashes between the magnets.

Why and when would I need these?
There are a number of reasons why you may find yourself needing to remove the wheel caps, such as tightening the wheels or removing for repairs.
Eaglemoss/DeAgostini also provide some fantastic alternative wheels for this model, such as the ‘white wall tyres’ and ‘train track wheels’. Unfortunately, whilst these are great additions to the build, they provide no method of removing the plastic wheel caps once installed, making them practically impossible to swap over. With these magnetic wheel caps you’ll be able to easily swap between all variations of wheels, damage-free!
These magnetic wheel caps also serve as great replacements for already damaged or misplaced wheel caps.

Important: Neodymium magnets are much stronger than ordinary magnets and pose a danger to children, heart pacemakers and magnetically sensitive items. Before using these magnets, please refer to the included ‘Magnet Safety’ insert regarding the safe use and storage of your magnets.
All other model parts and accessories shown in the photos outside of the ‘What’s included’ list above are not included and are shown purely for demonstration and application purposes.

I am such a fan of Back to the Future and this car. I love all versions of the vehicle and will love displaying every version of the car and change them out. The build does not allow for easy, damage-free changes to allow the car to be a universal model for each version. These are essential along with the regular DMC caps to make this possible and I am forever in Mike Lanes debt for allowing me to be able to display this car as I want it whenever I want it!
