Designed as a quick, easy option for covering the screw holes on the 1:8 scale Mr Fusion, whilst also adding extra, more accurate detailing.
Easy-to-apply, pre-cut and printed on high quality self-adhesive vinyl.
The vinyl sticker also covers the clear emblem on the side which is the wrong scale and colour. The emblem should be larger and also a smokey grey colour. This vinyl wrap aims to correct the visual appearance of this whilst also including small screw hole detailing which are present on the real thing.
As demonstrated in the photos, it is recommended that the holes are gently filed to smoothen any burrs or protruding edges. This will help prevent the hole edges showing through behind the vinyl.
It is also recommended that you apply the sticker starting from the back, as demonstrated.
For the more adventurous, filling in the holes with model filler and gently filing back to a smooth finish before applying the vinyl wrap will give an even better finish! If you fancied taking it one step further and fully respray Mr Fusion, you could opt for my ‘Mr Fusion Transfers’ as an alternative, available here.

Perfect fit, really makes a difference getting rid of the ugly huge screw holes! Just be careful when sanding the Mr Fusion that you don't sand any areas not covered by the vinyl! (Not Mike's fault, my own fault completely!) :D

It's fantastic! The screw holes didn't bother me, but Mr. Fusion looks so much better with the vinyl wrap on it. I used spackle to fill the holes, then sanded down the parts that needed to be sanded and applied the wrap. Excellent work, Mike!

Admittedly, the large screw holes on the Mr. Fusion didn’t bother me as much as I thought they would. That being said, this vinyl wrap is an easy application item that improves the look tremendously. It covers the screw holes and updates the logo giving it an authentic look! It’s an easy and affordable upgrade that makes a world of difference!

Great quality vinyl wrap! Covers those ugly holes nicely. Mike's advice is totally sound at applying the vinyl to the Mr Fusion. Fantastic mod Mike. I've bought nearly all of Mike Lanes mods, cant wait to see what comes next!!
